Dont’ panic if you haven’t already bought your Christmas party dress, not only do Debenhams still have a fantastic collection still available but many of their evening cocktail dresses are now on sale.
One of my favourite pieces is this Jenny Packham black sequin flapper style dress. Not only does it create a gorgeous silhouette with it’s fitted design, but it will also ensure you shimmer and sparkle all night long, with it’s striking sequin covered layers and fringe detailing.
This sleeveless dress is a timeless classic, from it’s rounded front neckline, and lowered V back to the elegant shift style falling just above the knee. Match with a pair of metallic heels and clutch and some statement jewellery with a faux fur shrug to finish for a chic festive party look.
Again this is a sleeveless dress with rounded front neckline and lower back detail, but has a slightly more relaxed blouson style fit. That’s not to say that it loses any of it’s elegance, in fact I’d say it adds to it as the soft flowing fabric helps the dress to shimmer and sparkle as you move.
Keep shoes and clutch simple with some bold statement jewellery and either a faux fur or gem covered shrug to complete your Christmas party look.
With all these beautiful chic evening cocktail dresses available, there really is a great excuse to go and treat yourself to a few new dresses, beacause it would be such a shame to be seen in the same dress twice in one party season now wouldn’t it 🙂 – at least that’s my excuse !!
