I am happy and pleased to announce that I can hold my head up high this season in the hottest new trend the Fedora!

I will confess to having a liking for hats (to say the least!) and remember back in the 80’s as a teenager, I experimented with many different styles and colours. Whether that was because I was shy and it was easy to hide under a wide brim on daily outings (especially a hat like the Fedora) or just that I have a passion for headgear, I’m not sure…. but nowadays it is purely a passion for loving hats 🙂

So when I noticed that London Fashion Week had been inundated with the return of wearing the classic Fedora, it was well worth a blog in my mind.

House of Fraser have a number of styles, colours and designer Fedora hats on offer that are hard to resist, from the Linea black felt fedora with a brown twisted belt trim to my favourite the floppy black Marella one above. The Marella fedora hat gives you a relaxed, soft & feminine look and if you were to wear it with your favourite pair of jeans, a tee or everyday sweater and a blazer style jacket it would give you a super casual look to make your outfit really stand out in the crowd.

For a more pronounced look try another classic style by wearing a fedora hat which will accentuate the more feminine and romantic side to your look. The Linea is the perfect accessory to be worn with a maxi pleated skirt, fitted top and brown leather jacket as this will give you a sophisticated and elegant twist to a chic and stylish outfit.

So make a change this season with a trend setting felt fedora hat. Don’t worry if it’s your first time in a hat, the Fedora will get you noticed for all the right eye-catching reasons. Go ahead, put it on, then forget you are even wearing a hat and wait for all the stunning compliments. After all, you should never settle for anything less when wearing a fedora hat!
