The Bomber Jacket

I have seen many women wearing these bomber jackets and have previously bypassed them in the shops, but when I had a walk through Wallis the other day a couple of them jumped out and caught my eye.

I tried two on, one floral patterned and one plain, and must admit that they looked better on than I thought they would.

Black Matte Bomber JacketThe plain one I tried on was in a black matte satin finish. The overall look was simplistic, but with my monochrome aztec patterned trousers the bomber jacket looked fabulous.

The mandarin style collar and silver zip up front was finished off neatly with an elasticated cuffed waistband and sleeve cuffs.

Two concealed front pockets completed this chic and stylish jacket beautifully.

The second bomber jacket I tried on was a bold monochrome floral patterned jacket.

Monochrome Floral Bomber JacketNow this jacket made a real statement as soon as I popped it on. Zipped up I thought it was a bit too much on me but when I opened the zip half way and left it hang loose, it looked much better.

I teamed it with some white jeans and vest top and the on trend look I got was just perfect for the Summer season.

These are affordable jackets at £40.00 and £35.00 respecitively.

I will probably opt for the bold monochrome floral patterned bomber jacket as I just seem to be enjoying wearing patterned clothing more and more these days.

I also have a lot of plain jeans, jeggings and three quarter length summer trousers which this jacket would finish off stunningly.

Just realised you are never too old to wear a stylish bomber jacket. 🙂
