Bonfire night is a great night out with the children, with the booms, whizzes and sparkles of the fireworks, and the smell of hot dogs and hamburgers, what better way to display your young ones winter wardrobe with a bang, yet still being practical and keeping them warm.
I’m a great believer in layers, as you can always take something off if you get warm and pop it back on as the evening temperature starts to drop.
Children want to look stylish, yet feel comfortable and warm too. I’ve seen some wonderful warm and bright colours in the Autumn/Winter collection at George.
The lovely soft brushed checked shirts, and gorgeously bright fleece hoodies and patterned jumpers are bang on trend. To complete the look why not team it with a beautiful bright coloured poncho or hooded fur lined gilet for the girls and the ever trendy quilted gilet or Borg lined checked hoodies for boys.
Very have introduced some gorgeous floral, animal and bright patterned skinny jeans for girls, whilst the boys won’t miss out with the fantastic autumnal coloured jeans and cords available.
For younger children, how about a full bodied snow suit, I’ve noticed that Vertbaudet stock ski/snow suits.
Your little ones can make their own explosive show on bonfire night with the bright red and silver for the boys and pink and silver for girls.
Also,to keep those feet cosy, how about investing in a pair of snuggly snow boots, to keep them warm and dry. For the final accessories, we mustn’t forget the scarf, hat and gloves, whether it’s the sparkly berets for girls or the fur lined trapper hats for boys, they will be as snug as a bug in their winter woolies.
So… remember, remember the 5th of November!
