Having recently celebrated my birthday, (money and vouchers gratefully received thank you!) I have a long list of things that I “need”, to get my summer wardrobe ready and hassle free on the clothes and shoes front!
One of the first things on my list was a new pair of comfortable converse canvas trainer.
I have literally worn my navy blue pair out and they are the most comfortable pair of canvas trainer I’ve ever had, especially when I walk the 4 mile round trip on the school run every day. (morning and afternoon that is!)
So as I am still squeezing a bit more life out of my navy blue pair (making them last as long as possible!) I wanted a lighter colour as a contrast.
Having looked through the many colours and shapes available at Converse, I’ve decided to opt for a lighter All Star low grey and pink converse trainer.
Unfortunately, I have to admit that when I find a shoe that is comfortable, I tend to stick to the same style and choose a couple of pairs in different colours – not very adventurous I know. But I do have odd shaped feet, so absolutely love it when I can find comfort as well as trend in a day to day pair of shoes/trainers.
So back to the Converse trainers – as I said the ones I like are a light grey shade with a bold baby pink trim and inner and the distinctive white rubber thick sole, with white laces finishing the look.
These trainers are light enough to mix and match with any colour, and although I am trying to change, I do tend to wear a lot of crop jeans and crop linen trousers, so these trainers will get plenty of use over the summer months – just like my navy blue pair have.
If grey isn’t your “thing”, then I do love the trend of the white trainer and again Converse don’t fail as they have a vast array of styles and shapes to choose from.
Sticking with the same low All Star Converse Trainer, I do like these low white canvas trainer with a red and dark blue trim to break it up.
Having bought myself some new denim shorts and cropped jeans, I do think that either the white or grey will match these items perfectly.
The only problem I have with any white shoes/trainer is – how long will they remain pure white, with me, that’s not very long!!! I know it’s similar with the light grey pair, but at least there is some room for coverage and disguise with grey – Just!!
Whichever pair of Converse trainer you opt for though, and they have too many to mention here! You know you will be getting a quality pair of comfortable and durable trainer shoes.
Yes they do cost a few more £££’s than some brands, but I found that when you buy cheap shoes, they don’t usually last a season and they are certainly not as comfortable.
So invest in your feet this summer and enjoy comfort and a great look in a pair of Converse Trainers.
