I have been asked to review a nice little eclectic mix of clothing from Femme Luxe this month and can’t wait to share my thoughts with you.
White Oversized Long Sleeve Drawstring Front Pocket Mini Hoodie Dress – Savannah
This item of clothing is advertised on Femme Luxe as a hooded dress, due to it’s longer than usual length of a normal hooded top. However, I love wearing the white oversized mini hooded dress as a long line top over my jeans or jeggings, especially on colder Summer days.
This hooded top is soft to touch and has a fleece like inner which makes it feel extra comfortable to wear. It also features a front kangaroo pocket and cuffed sleeves and hemline. I ordered a size 10 as it looked quite loose online and the body of the piece fits lovely, but again the sleeves are quite long on me.
This garment is made up from 65% cotton and 35% polyester, so it is easy to wash at a low temperature, and probably will need a lot of washing as it’s white!!
The RRP of this hooded mini dress is £32.99 but Femme Luxe have some great discount offers on at the moment and this top is currently priced at £14.99.
Beige High Waisted Drawstring Pocket Detail Cuffed Teddy Joggers – Avery
These beige drawstring cuffed teddy joggers really do have the feel of a soft cuddly teddy bear, along with the colour you really do feel snug and cwtched up in these extremely warm joggers.
Apart from the soft feel, these joggers feature two side pockets, a thick drawstring waistband and cuffed ankles. This item is made from 100% polyester so they are quite warm to wear but unfortunately there is no stretch in them.
I ordered a large (12) and they just about fit me. Personally I thought there might have been a bit of elastane in them as they could do with a bit of flexibility in the leg in order to lounge around in a bit more comfort.
They are again machine washable at a low temperature, but I think these joggers are more Autumn/Winter wear than Summer, so I will have to wait to snuggle up in these in a few months time.
The cost of these joggers are normally £26.99, however they are on offer at the moment with Femme Luxe for just £7.99. A really good bargain, if you like to plan your Autumn/Winter wardrobe early.
Rust Ribbed V Neck Midi Jumper Dress – Ivy
For something completely different, this rust ribbed v-neck jumper dress is something I wouldn’t normally choose. But I do think it looks and feels lovely, and again will make a great addition to my Autumn/Winter wardrobe.
I ordered an XXL (16/18) as I thought being ribbed it would hug all of my curves and I wanted to feel comfortable whilst wearing it and not too tight. This dress is part of the large collection of midi dresses available at Femme Luxe.
Thankfully, there is a decent stretch in the fabric as it’s made from 98% acrylic and 2% elastane. So two very stretchy materials. I like the way it casually hugs my curves rather than clings to them.
I love the knee length of this dress and the v-neck at the front as well as the back adding a bit of pizzazz to it. I will no doubt wear this piece in the Autumn and Winter with a pair of my knee high boots as it’ll be too warm to wear during the next few Summer months.
The cost of this super comfy dress is normally £33.99 but is currently reduced to £20.99, which makes it a great bargain piece to buy now in preparation for next season’s wardrobe staples.
