A staple piece to add to your all year round wardrobe is a scrumptious stripey Breton top from Joules, as they are perfect in every single way.
A Breton top is the perfect accessory to mix and match with a number of outfits during the four seasons of the year, as they add a bit of boldness and brightness to your ensemble.
They are created in a straight cut design with a crew neckline and long sleeves in a slightly longer length to a normal t-shirt or top. This allows you to wear the top inside or out of your jeans, trousers or skirt comfortably.

The design of the stripes going in different directions is gorgeous and it adds a touch of uniqueness to the top that I adore.
With the mix of varied colours it also makes it easy to mix and match with a selection of coloured bottom pieces, just look at the coloured jeans available now, which are surely a must have wardrobe staple.
As for the Hope stripe navy harbour top and the Lime green stripe harbour top, these are more simplistic, everyday pieces that look more classic in style and design.
In Spring or Summer you could team any one of these Breton tops with some jeans, slip on shoes and a tailored or loose fit blazer, giving you a relaxed chic everyday casual look.
Then in the Autumn and Winter, you could layer these tops under chunky knit cardigans or jumpers for added warmth.
Although, it does helps that these tops are so reasonably priced at just £24.95, making it more affordable to buy more than one of them.
For myself I’m opting for the Hotch Potch Harbour and timeless Hope navy blue and white striped Breton tops as i’m just starting my collection.
However, I know I will be keeping my fashion eyes on the alert for the Lime green Harbour Breton top as it will match beautifully with my khaki coloured linen trousers and strappy wedge heeled sandals in the Summer 🙂
