I know it’s a bit early to box away your boots and pop on some lovely ballerina pumps, but I’m dreaming of warm weather and sunshine amidst all this rain and snow.
So planning ahead I have been looking at some gorgeous ballerina pumps, fancying something with a bit of bling or glitter I came across a few pairs in “The Shoe Collection” at Next.
There was plenty of choice, from loafers and lace ups to soft leather, jewelled and animal prints.
As I’m looking for something with a bit of shimmer and glitz, I really like the look of the Heatseal Toecap Ballerina pump in navy or rose, as the main shoe is covered in glitter with some extra bling thrown across the front toecap in the form of coloured studs.
On the upside, these shoes fit comfortably over the toe front and have good support around the edges, whereas the downside would be that they are just TOO flat for me!!
I don’t think my back would be able to cope with such flat shoes all day long, as I need a slight heel of at least 2cms.
Another of Next, classic ballerina pumps are their Leather Points, which are available in black and cobalt blue suede or this gorgeous snake effect print.
They have a V-shape front toe but with plenty of coverage for my wider foot and finished with a small block heel of approximately 2cms, which is the perfect height for me.
I’m a sucker for any form of animal print whether it’s shoes, clothes or accessories, so these look classy especially as they have a bit of a patent shine to them.
A bit concerned as to how my feet will cope in points all day long, but I do like the detail and shape of these shoes.
Finally, I came across these Metal Insert Square Toe Ballerina pumps, which really do tick all the boxes for me.
Made from a strong wearable material they are still quite flexible and comfortable to wear straight away – no breaking them in! 😉
They are designed with a rounded toe area and approximately 2cms block heel, which feature a metal strip at the join of the shoe.
The great thing about these shoes are that they are avaiable in four various textures – the mono one shown here, a worn look silver, a black croc effect and finally a pony skin pair.
All these pumps will mix’n’match with your Spring/Summer wear, a versatile addition to your footwear.
There is a slight difference in price with all of these ballerina pumps mentioned, ranging from £28.00 to £42.00.
But I do admit that I have always been very lucky with the quality of the shoes, boots or sandals that I have bought for myself or my children at Next, so I believe the prices are very reasonable.
So get shopping for the Spring and even if it’s too cold to walk outside in your new ballet pumps, just looking at them and wearing them around the house will certainly make you think of warmer climates and holidays. 🙂
