Following on from my piece about Converse trainers, I’ve now been looking into this new trend of womens slip on Vans trainers and have found quite a few choices at Schuh.
I can see the benefits of these trainers as they will provide a comfortable piece of everyday casual yet quirky and distinctive looking footwear, to mix and match with varied trousers and jeans.
Being a real shoe lover, I have looked at these trainers and thought “too manly”, but having tried them on with varying bottom half pieces, I can definitely see the benefit of the comfort and wearability of them.
I have two pairs in mind and must decide soon which one will suit me best.
The first are these Vans Black and White Classic Slip Snake Trainers. Being neutral in colour makes it simple to team them with many of my coloured jeans and chino trousers.
The slightly sparkly and shimmery textured snake skin patterned upper adds a feminine touch which I adore, as you know I do like my animal prints.
So not only do these black leather upper slip on trainers look bang on trend, they also have that bit of bling that I love with Summer footwear.
The chunky white vulcanised sole just adds a quirky finishing effect to these trainers to make you say “Buy Me”!!
Another timeless pair are these bold Vans White Classic Slip leather trainers.
These trendy trainers are created in a white leather upper (making it easier to keep clean than fabric!) and they have the usual elasticated side panels for ease of wearing.
With the only colour being the subtle black logo branding these slip ons really are “All White” 😉
Personally, I’m going to opt for the black snakeskin pair as for me these really add a statement to a casual everyday ensemble.
However, there are many different colours, styles and textures to choose from the Vans collection at Schuh, but I can’t emphasise enough the comfort, durability and scrumptious full on trendy look I have when I’ve tried them on.
So I have certainly been converted, have you??
