Following my blog piece about my Aztec dress, I decided to order some goodies from the recent Wallis sale online.
I was really happy with the trousers I ordered so they were definite “keepers”
Here I’m wearing the petite berry side zipped trousers and not only do they fit really comfortably on me, the colour is gorgeous.
I really love the deep berry shade and it’s a fab change from normal black, navy or grey trousers, truly a great alternative.
The trousers are made from a mix of soft cotton, polyester, and elastane. So no wonder they are comfy, they have a lovely stretch throughout and just enough give in them to feel comfortable without being loose.
I ordered a size 14 as they are a petite size and I thought they might be a bit short and tight as I’m about 5ft 6″, however, they are 29″ long in the leg and that seems to be the perfect length for me. The waist isn’t tight either, so all in all a good fit.
I’ve paired my trousers with a pair of ballet pumps today, and I know they will look just as fab with a pair of boots or trainer shoes. Knowing me, I’ll probably match them with a jumper and top or blouse in the Spring.
I’ve been so lucky in the sales since Christmas! I know quite a few items have been returned but I’ve been happy with the pieces I’ve kept.
My body shape has certainly changed over the past 6 months, and these few sale items are a great addition to my wardrobe.
