Following on from my last Femme Luxe blog, I’d like to thank them again for asking me to review some more clothing.

Unfortunately, as I said before, I am a bit limited to what I choose and that is mainly due to my size and some of their more sexier and racier numbers not being suitable for me personally.

Therefore, seeing as we are still in the midst of winter, I picked a variety of comfy clothing from a chunky knit dress, a lose fitted knitted jumper, a longline hooded top and a cold shoulder tunic top. I know I will wear these four items as they suit my style and lifestyle well.

Grey High Neck Knitted Side Splitting Jumper Dress – Penelope

Penelope Grey High Neck Knitted Side Split Jumper DressFirstly, I opted for this high neck knitted side splitting jumper dress, which is priced at £16.99 in the sale. This dress is great to wear for a shopping day or coffee with friends.

For a simple winter dress, this piece is perfect for me. I really like the soft roll neck, loose fit feel, long sleeves and slight cut of the side splits.

I chose the M/L (12/14) as I wasn’t sure how fitted it would be, but it has enough stretch in the material to sit comfortably over my curves.

It’s actually a gorgeous fit and makes me feel a bit more glammed up, especially when compared to my usual dress code of jeans, jumper and boots.

The knitted dress is made from 100% acrylic and has a nice soft feel and seeing as it can be machine washed at 30 degrees, that’s definitely another advantage. This jumper dress is also available in cream, black and white colours.

Black Knitted Turtleneck Mini Jumper Dress – Elmore

Black Knitted Turtleneck Mini Jumper DressNext on my list was another chunky knit, but this time it was the ‘Elmore’, a high roll neck loose fitting jumper in black. At the moment this jumper has been reduced by 56% in the sale down to £15.99.

First thing I noticed is that it really is a baggy jumper, even on me! I ordered the M/L (12/14) but think that I could have sized down to the S/M (8/10) as it really is loose fitting.

A great piece of knitwear for lounging around in or even throwing over the top of a tee to do the school run. I would really struggle to wear this jumper under a coat as the sleeves are too baggy.

Again this knitted piece is made from 100% acrylic and can be machine washed. The chunky knit jumper is also available in stone, duck egg blue and grey, so if you don’t want to opt for the black jumper like me, there’s another three to choose from.

Black Long Line Hoodie Dress – Theo

Black Belted Long Line Hoodie DressI’ve been looking for a long line hoody for ages and was lucky to find one on Femme Luxe Refinery.

The ‘Theo’ black long line hoodie dress is the perfect fit for me to wear with my leggings, jeggings or joggers. It has cuffed sleeves and hemline, a matching fabric belt (to help cinch in the waist if you want) and drawstring hood, plus it fits neatly under my winter coat if needs be.

This piece is great for everyday sports style luxe, whether like me you wear it with jeggings, or dare to wear it alone, this sporty type top is fab to run errands as an alternative to a coat.

Again I opted for the M/L (12/14), but if black isn’t your thing, there’s a dusky pink version and if you’re quick enough, they’ve both been reduced to £15.99.

The hoodie’s made from a mix of acrylic and elastene, which is great for comfort and just that bit of added stretch.

Black Cold Shoulder Cut Out Jersey Dress – Laura

Black Cold Shoulder Cut Out Jersey DressLastly, I chose the Laura, a black cold shoulder cut out jersey dress. I will be wearing this “dress” with some jeans or jeggings, which suits my style of wearing loose tops over trousers.

This jersey dress is very similar to the hooded top above, apart from the differing neck line. This piece features a cut out cold right shoulder detail and rounded neck. However, be warned, the cut of the sleeves are a lot baggier as is the bodyshape of the tunic dress.

Thankfully, a fabric belt is provided with the dress, so you can accentuate your waistline as much or as little as you like.

I stuck to the M/L (12/14) although I might have been ok to size down to a S/M (8/10) due to the square cut of the tunic. But it was another bargain being priced at just £11.99.

Although all of the above items are made mainly from acrylic and elastene, they are comfortable to wear, keep me warm and fit well which is what I look for in Winter clothing.

I basically chose these items from the Femme Luxe lounge wear collection. As I said earlier, I am a bit limited in my choices at Femme Luxe due to my size.

However they do have an extensive selection of great clothing and accessory pieces that I know girls/women aged between 16 and 35 years old would love to wear.

The prices are so low and competitive, especially as they have a major discount sale on at the moment. Making it an easy way to keep up with the latest fashion trends without breaking the bank so close after Christmas.
