Femme Luxe Jeans, Leggings and Jumper

Having been lucky to be asked to choose some more clothing from Femme Luxe to review again, I decided to push the boat out and chose a couple of items from the jeans collection.

I ordered a pair of dark wash jeans, camo jeans and black leather look leggings. I also sneaked in a simple but gorgeous longline stone jumper from Femme Luxe’s Dresses Collections simply because I was looking for a longline jumper to go with the black jeggings.

Blue Dark Wash Straight Leg Side Split Jeans – Lexia

Straight Leg Side Split Jeans
First up on my wish list were these blue dark wash straight leg side split jeans.

I like the fact they feature a high waist band with a simple zip and silver stud button fastening as this is a big plus in my book when choosing a good fitting pair of jeans.

This dye is the perfect colour for dark wash jeans with an even shade throughout which is not too dark or over washed like some jeans today. Probably what I would call a traditional shade of jeans.

The only negative I can say about these jeans is that they are about 3 inches to long for my leg! As you can see in the photo.

Otherwise these jeans fit beautifully over my curves. Unfortunately, due to the fact that they feature a side split at the ankle I can’t even roll them up as they just roll out, so I’ll get them shortened to be able to wear them whenever I want.  As I really don’t fancy trying to walk around in 3 inch heels all day 🙁

I ordered a size 14 in these jeans and the fit and stretch is just right for me even though they are made from 100% cotton. They are currently priced at just £13.99!

I must admit that when there is no elastane in the jeans I machine wash them at a lower temperature at 30° wash and I ALWAYS wash them inside out with other dark coloured jeans or towels.

Brown Camo Print Elasticated Trousers – Casandra

Brown Camo Print Trousers
I have fancied these brown camo print trousers for some time, but they were out of stock for ages in my size.  But then I got lucky and was able to order a size 16.

I chose a larger size as they are made from the same fabric which is 100% cotton as the Khaki Green Cargo Slim Fit Trouser – Sunny which I ordered during my last review blog piece.

Really glad that I did size up as they are quite a snug fit around my derrieré, just like the cargo slim fit trousers.

However, I really like the camo design as it is so unlike my usual pattern of clothing.  The loud design of  brown, beige and cream camo is so on trend and so out of my comfort zone of clothing.  But I really wanted to try them and I’m pleased that I have.

The camo jeans feature a zip and stud button fastening with two side hip pockets.  Also the trousers have two thigh pockets with stud fastening closures.  To finish off these trend setting camo trousers they have an elasticated cuff on the ankles.  They are currently priced at a reasonable £17.99.

I’ve matched my camo jeans with a black t-shirt and white Adidas trainers for my effort to look cool and funky! Not sure my kids would agree, but I like this look for a change to my usual wardrobe staples.

Black High Waisted Faux Leather Look Leggings – Catriona

Faux Leather Leggings
Absolutely love the look of these high waisted faux leather look leggings and I just had to have them.

Unfortunately for me these leggings only go up to a size 14, which is what I ordered. I do think I could have done with an extra inch around my bottom and top of the thigh area for a bit more of a comfortable fit, but they will probably stretch as I wear them, so fingers crossed they look great.

These simple leggings add a little bit of extra style to everyday casual wear. I’ve teamed mine with the stone high neck bodycon jumper dress I ordered for this review. I think they make a fab combo .

The leggings are made from 95% polyester and 5% elastane so they do have a nice soft touch to them and a bit of stretch. They have a slight sheen as you’d expect, but are a great length for me. Seeing as they are priced at just £10.99 they are a massive bargain.

Stone High Neck Bodycon Jumper Dress – Esmelia

Bodycon Jumper Dress
When I saw this stone bodycon jumper dress from femme luxe’s dress collection I just knew it would mix and match with plenty of jeans and jeggings that I currently have.

I also thought it would look amazing with the black faux leather look leggings mentioned above, which I think I was right about.

Although this is known as a bodycon jumper dress, as you can see from this photo it would definitely NOT be a good idea for me to wear it as a dress and therefore I’ll use it as a longline jumper instead.

The piece is made from 100% acrylic, so I’m hoping it will keep it’s shape after a few washes. It is again so reasonably priced at just £14.99.

Another big thank you to Femme Luxe for allowing me to choose and review some of their clothing once again. There is so much more on their website that would be suitable for so many women of different shapes and sizes and age. So if you are looking for exceptionally low priced, stylish and on trend clothing Femme Luxe is the place to look.
