After lots of Hmmming and Ahhhing, I finally took the plunge and bought a pair of Ugg boots.

ugg-bailey-boots1I’ve been trying to decide over the last few years – whether they are worth the money as with them being made from a suede and sheepskin outer, when would I get the chance to wear them (as it seems to rain alot these days) and I would be aggrieved to wear them in wet weather as I wouldn’t want them to spoil.

My other dilemma was which pair do I really like? As there are so many styles and colours to choose from.

In the end, I managed to find a great discount with free delivery on a pair of Ugg Bailey Button Triplet Chestnut Boots from Cloggs footwear for just £149! A Reduction of £51.00

Not only were they reduced by 30% (delivery was free over £50), but they were dispatched and arrived within the week from the date of order! Ticking all the right boxes for me.

ugg-bailey-boots4I wasn’t sure about the sizing as I’m normally a 5.5, thankfully there’s a sizing tips chart on the Cloggs website that explained about Uggs unique sizing guide. So I ordered a size 5, as they match a UK 5.5 and although they are a snug fit to start, I’ve been told by many friends that they do stretch and loosen up after a few tmes of wearing.

Now that I have had these boots and worn them once, I can see why women say they are probably one of the most comfortable pair of boots they have ever worn.

The soft wool inners give you such a cushioned feel, you honestly think you are wearing the softest pair of slippers imaginable, add to that the extra warmth I got from the sheep’s wool lining, and these boots are a complete win win pair of winter wear.

ugg-bailey-boots2I loved the three wood logo buttons on the exterior which gives these boots a distinctive look.

The buttons can also be undone, and the boot folded down, to give you an alternative looking ankle boot. So I got two boots for the price of one.

To complete these gorgeous boots there is a genuine twinface sheepskin outer and this is finished off with Ugg Australia’s unique EVO molded sole.

The day I wore my Uggs was one of our chilly but dry October days, with my black jeggings, long sleeved organic stripe top and Craghoppers gilet, I really felt “the bees knees” as my mother used to say!

Comfort and being on trend, who would have thought it was possible for me and it only took me 45 years!!! 😉

Although Ugg Triplet Bailey Button Boots are expensive, as long as I look after them I know they will be worth the expense, just for the pure warmth and comfort they provide.
