Girls Summer Sandals

Having finally succomb to my 8 year daughter having a pair of flip flops for beach use, I realised that she also needed a new pair of summer sandals – as her feet seem to have outgrown everything.

I’ve been looking around and decided that although a little bit more expensive, I believe that a proper pair of leather strappy sandals are the answer.

Les Tropeziennes Par M.BelarbiHaving been lucky enough to receive an email from La Redoute about their summer 60% sale, I quickly jumped onto their website for a browse.

I came across these three pairs of girls strappy sandals (and wished they did them in adult sizes)!!

I think my daughter will wish to keep them all!!

Firstly, these Les Tropeziennes Par M.Belarbi multi strap, coloured flat leather sandal. They are available in three colour mixes, of tan/gold, white/silver or pink/metallic.

I absolutely adore the twisted strap detailing in the metallic leather upper and metal buckle ankle fitting which makes it a more comfortable fit.

Although these are quite expensive for a child’s sandal at a cost of £39.00, the fact that they are leather and will ensure that my little girls feet are comfortable throughout the summer months, make them worth the money.

Kickers Dixmillion Perf SandalSecond choice will be these KICKERS, Dixmillion Perf Leather Sandals in blue, tan and metallic strapping.

They normally cost £35.00 but have 30% discount on them at the moment, bringing them down to £24.50.

It does state that the leather is soft and of good quality which is just what a child needs with their ever changing and growing shape feet.

They don’t look as jazzy as the Les Tropeziennes, but still being in neutral colours, they are easy to mix and match with my daughter’s brightly coloured leggings, dresses and shorts.

For the third pair of leather sandals, my daughter fancied these Vertbaudet white and floral patterned pair.

Vertbaudet White Girls Floral SandalVery pretty and feminine and very similar to her current pair of white sandals. These sandals come in two choices, this floral patterned pair and a pink metallic pair.

As I said earlier, my daughter would love to keep all three pairs, but for an 8 year old with rapidly growing feet – I cannot justify the cost, especially as I’ve just spent a fortune of football boots and Astro Turf trainers for her. (She’s football crazy too!!)

So, I’ve ordered all three and will see which pair fits the best, but I’m hoping it will be the Les Tropeziennes pair with the pink and gold metallic straps, as I really do think they are adorable.
