With the recent cold weather snap, I was more than happy to dig out one of my old favourite jumpers from Marks and Spencer which I’d purchased last winter.
This jumper always makes me feel like I’ve got a snugly warm duvet wrapped around me. Not only does it keep me warm and cosy but it’s also a great way to add some hidden layers underneath for extra warmth, especially when we had the recent snow fall. And although it’s quite thick, it actually fits tidily under my winter Regatta long length coat.
I love the fact that these eyelash jumpers are made from such a soft fabric, with mine it just makes the jumper fit nicely over various tops.
The length of the jumper sits perfectly on my hips & the sleeve length is great as it reaches my wrist, not too long and not too short.
With all the times I’ve worn this jumper and then washed it, it’s remained fluffy. It has gone slightly baggy at the hemline, though not too much as to spoil the look of the jumper.
My jumper is mainly grey, black, and white with a dark metallic thread throughout, adding to the texture and style of this unusual shade of top.
As my jumper is over a year old, Marks and Spencer no longer stock it, but I have found some similar knitwear here at House of Fraser.
I’ve also got a multi-coloured eyelash jumper from Izabel clothing at Debenhams. This one is more a boxy style jumper, which sits a bit higher up on my waistline and it also has three quarter length sleeves.
This jumper has a more bobbly effect to it than my grey eyelash jumper, but it looks and feels equally as soft and fluffy. Again it’s easy to mix and match with my jeans and trousers as there are so many pastel colours to pair it up to.
The one downfall with this jumper is the neck is quite wide, so not easy to layer up underneath as other tops will show. However, a neat little trick to avoid this is to pop a small chiffon style scarf around my neck and hey presto, problem solved!
Seeing as Spring seems to have been put on hold for a while, why not pop on one of these comfy, cuddly teddy bear huggy style jumpers, to keep you as snug as a bug, and if you’re lucky, it won’t go out of fashion, just like my two tops.
