I’m sure many of us, including myself, have been wearing a lot more casual lounge wear pieces over the past 12 months. If you work from home like me or have to work from home during the various lockdowns, a simple jogger and hoodie set are the perfect combination pieces.
They have definitely been my go to outfit whilst working and even when I’ve gone out for some fresh air and exercise on local walks.
So I would like to share the last three sets of casual lounge wear I have been gifted to review from Femme Luxe.
Nude Zip Up Hoodie Cuffed Joggers Lounge Wear Set – Sibyl
Seeing as Spring is upon us I decided to opt for a lighter coloured jogger and hoodie and chose this nude zip up hoodie cuffed joggers lounge wear set.
I have to say the quality of fabric for this set is both soft and comfy and it feels like a second skin on me. It’s made from 65% cotton and 35%polyester and I’d liken the colour to a honey beige shade. I’ve worn this duo set with a black tee and trainers for a casual everyday look.
All in the same nude colour, this zip up hoodie features two side pockets, a drawstring hood and cuffed wrists and hem. Likewise with the joggers, they are designed with two side pockets, drawstring waist and cuffed ankle hems. I’m glad I opted for the size 14 as this duo set is true to its size.
The Sibyl jogger sets is also available in shades of khaki green, light grey and lilac. This gorgeous casual outfit costs £45.98 and is from the ladies loungewear sets collection.
Black Hoodie Cuffed Joggers Lounge Wear Set- Bellamy
Before receiving these goods, I didn’t actually possess a black hoodie, so this black hoodie cuffed joggers lounge wear set was the perfect match for what’s missing in my casual sports wardrobe.
This lounge wear set is again made from 65% cotton and 35% polyester, like the Sibyl twin set above, so it has that warm texture which feels soft to touch. I chose a size 14 again and although it fits nicely the hoodie is a bit more snug across the chest whilst the joggers have a slimmer fit to them. Yet again though, they are extremely comfortable and well worth the price tag of £45.98.
The Bellamy twin jogger set is also available in other colours such as lilac, grey, nude and khaki, so plenty of choice.
I’ve worn both the nude and black jogger sets when I’ve been going for my local walks because they so comfortable and easy to wear. But what shocked me most, in a good way, was how warm both outfits kept me especially when I’ve gone for either an early morning or late evening walk.
Another advantage of having a two piece set like the Sibyl and Bellamy jogger sets are the hoodies are a fantastic way to mix and match with other pieces such as jeans or some of my different coloured combat trousers.
A great plus for me is that all these items are machine washable at 40°.
Navy Lounge Wear Tracksuit Set – Maria
For my final casual lounge wear piece I chose this navy lounge wear tracksuit set which is a lovely shade of dark blue.
I’ve previously reviewed this tracksuit in both the black and khaki green colours and have to say that I have worn them both many times around the house.
However, I do have to say that this set is limited for wearing around the house for me, as I find the material, which is 95% polyester and 5% elastene, just too thin and see-through to wear out and about.
I really like the crew neck top of this set, and as long as I wear a dark top underneath to stop it showing my underwear then I feel comfortable wearing it. Unfortunately, I can’t do the same for the leggings style bottoms and they look more like a pair of 70 denier tights on me rather than tracksuit bottoms.
This tracksuit set retails at £39.98 and is also available in black, light grey, charcoal, beige, khaki and wine.
